"Elderly woman run over by reversing car"

Police are seeking information in relation to an incident on Grey St, Palmerston North at 11am this morning.

An elderly woman was run over by a car reversing from a driveway.

She is currently in a critical condition at Palmerston North Hospital.

We would like to thank members of the public and the driver of the car who assisted at the scene.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
