My Food Bag CEO awarded top honour at TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards

My Food Bag CEO Kevin Bowler has been inducted into the TVNZ-NZ Marketing Hall of Fame, one of the most prestigious honours in marketing.

Announced on Thursday night at the TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards in Auckland, the accolade is awarded to individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to the New Zealand marketing industry.

Bowler, who was appointed CEO of My Food Bag earlier this year, was applauded for his finely-tuned marketing skills and ability to motivate others to excel. He joins past inductees Theresa Gattung, John MacDonald and Joan Withers, amongst others.

"It’s a huge honour to be part of the TVNZ-NZ Marketing Hall of Fame. I’ve been fortunate to work with brilliant teams during my career, who have inspired me and taught me as much about leadership, creativity and marketing as I have them," said Bowler.

Renowned as a leader and innovator, Bowler’s experience covers a diverse range of industries in both New Zealand and internationally.

Under his tenure as CEO of Tourism New Zealand the international visitor sector grew more than 30 percent to be New Zealand's biggest export earner. Prior to his role at My Food Bag, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Frucor Suntory.

Established 27 years ago, the TVNZ-NZ Marketing Awards recognise and celebrate the skills, expertise and work of marketing professionals that result in great business outcomes for their organisations and provide thought leadership for the industry.
